v1.0·Minecraft 1.21.11·Paper·Java 21

Island cells and dimensions

Every island receives a persistent numeric index. Centers are spaced 1000 blocks apart by default, and the same index maps to corresponding X/Z cells in all three managed worlds. Deleted indices are not reused; a recreated island receives a new cell.

The overworld starts with only the OneBlock. islands.platform-radius controls Nether and End starting platforms, where 0 means only one center block. Nether and End chunks are prepared on first use rather than during every initial island creation.

Team ownership

A player can own or join only one island at a time. Members share the OneBlock center, tier progress, island break total, island level, upgrade state, home access, and dimension access. The owner can invite players, remove members, ban visitors, and transfer ownership to an eligible member.

Membership is checked again when an invitation is accepted. A stale invitation cannot move a player out of another island or bypass capacity limits.

Public visitor warp

/ob setwarp on|off controls whether other players can use /ob warp <owner>. Visitors may arrive at an enabled warp but island protection blocks unauthorized breaking, placing, fluid use, and container interaction. A banned player cannot enter through a public warp.

Temporary workers

Trust grants work permissions without permanent membership:

text
/ob trust <player> [break,place,interact|all] [30m]
/ob untrust <player>
/ob trusted

Permissions can be scoped to break, place, and interact. Durations accept forms such as 30m, 2h, or 1d, subject to configured defaults and maximums. Records survive restarts and expire automatically. Trust does not grant team ownership, upgrade purchasing, or administration commands.

Border semantics

Configured border values are one-direction lengths including the center. Effective diameter is (value × 2) - 1; a value of 64 produces a 127-block-wide area. Configuration is rejected when the maximum border diameter cannot fit within island spacing. Changing spacing after islands exist does not relocate them.

Deletion lifecycle

Deletion covers the linked overworld, Nether, and End cells. Players are evacuated to a safe non-managed spawn before cleanup. Team links, bans, trusts, warps, and invitations are released. Physical cleanup is split across ticks, does not generate missing chunks, and is resumed from persistent state after an interruption.
