Troubleshooting and FAQ

The plugin does not start

Confirm exact Paper 1.21.11 and Java 21 versions. Find the first AeroOneBlock error in the console; later stack trace messages are often consequences. For YAML errors, inspect the reported path, indentation, enum name, and parallel array lengths.

Money costs do not work

Vault alone cannot store balances. Confirm that both Vault and a compatible economy provider are enabled. A cost of zero intentionally skips economy. Do not configure negative costs.

A placeholder remains unchanged

Verify that PlaceholderAPI loaded before AeroOneBlock and that the exact %aerooneblock_...% form is used. No separate eCloud expansion is required. Restart after adding integration plugins rather than hot-reloading them.

CPU rises during island creation

Generating new void-world chunks still performs real vanilla CPU and disk work. Review islands.pregeneration.enabled, chunk-radius, chunks-per-batch, max-in-flight, and Paper view distance. In a Spark profile, separate AeroOneBlock frames from vanilla chunk generation and unrelated plugin work.

Physical deletion takes time

The island record may be released while time-budgeted physical cleanup continues. Increasing max-millis-per-tick finishes sooner but can increase MSPT spikes. Enable scan-maximum-border only when outside-border administrative builds must be removed.

A player falls through the OneBlock

Verify the configured center and check whether another plugin changes the same BlockBreakEvent. Keep void rescue enabled. The support block may remain disabled; selecting AIR also disables it and does not remove a player-placed block after restart.

Can borders overlap?

Effective diameter is (radius × 2) - 1. A configured value of 64 produces 127 blocks. The maximum diameter must fit within island spacing. Changing spacing later does not relocate old islands.

Italic menu text or duplicate sounds

Use menu.font: minecraft:default and check external resource packs or menu plugins that modify components. AeroOneBlock already supplies one central click sound, so remove a second external sound if only one is desired.
