Block-Based Island Level
Configure island level points, default block values, ranking, event updates, and periodic audits.
How level is calculated
AeroOneBlock counts physically placed materials with a configured value across the island's three dimensions. Each material count is multiplied by its value from config/block-levels.yml. Player inventories, ender chests, and items inside containers do not contribute; a valuable block must exist in the world.
The central OneBlock is excluded. An enabled support-block coordinate is also excluded. When support is disabled, a normal block deliberately placed there by a player may count as an island block.
Included default values
| Block | Level |
|---|---|
COBBLESTONE | 0.01 |
STONE | 0.02 |
STONE_BRICKS | 0.025 |
COBBLED_DEEPSLATE | 0.02 |
DEEPSLATE | 0.025 |
DEEPSLATE_BRICKS | 0.04 |
QUARTZ_BLOCK | 0.1 |
LAPIS_BLOCK | 0.15 |
REDSTONE_BLOCK | 0.25 |
COAL_BLOCK | 0.5 |
COPPER_BLOCK | 0.75 |
IRON_BLOCK | 1 |
GOLD_BLOCK | 2.5 |
DIAMOND_BLOCK | 5 |
EMERALD_BLOCK | 7.5 |
NETHERITE_BLOCK | 15 |
These values are editable defaults rather than fixed balance rules. Negative values are rejected. Adding a material updates both later calculations and the block-value menu.
Event updates and audit
Ordinary break, place, explosion, and piston events apply the difference between old and new material values. The complete island is not rescanned for every event. Bursts are combined during save-delay-ticks and persisted together.
WorldEdit or another plugin may modify blocks without normal Bukkit player events. levels.audit detects these changes through less frequent verification. It does not generate missing chunks, and block counting from existing chunk snapshots runs away from the main thread. Disabling audit does not necessarily disable ordinary event-delta updates.
Commands and ranking
/ob level: Shows the recorded value and requests calculation when needed./ob blocks: Opens the configured block-value menu./ob top: Displays ranking by island level./aerooneblock recalclevel <owner>: Requests an administrative recalculation.
%aerooneblock_level%, %aerooneblock_level_points%, %aerooneblock_level_calculating%, and %aerooneblock_rank% can be used in scoreboards and holograms. The calculating state indicates that a displayed value is being refreshed.
